OBJECTIVE :  Next is a private medical group that has existed in the Pacific Northwest for more than 20 years. They are headquartered in Portland,Oregon but have offices in in Bellingham, Washington, Spokane, Washington and Bend, Oregon. They have plans to expand to 3 additional locations in the Northwest over the next 12 months. They have a strong reputation for collaborative team-based care and focus on two distinct patient groups - millennials and baby boomers.

PROCESS: To be all inclusive, forward thinking, and community driven; next is working to become a pillar in the healthcare environment.  Focusing on a patient centered model this design will be specific to the Sodo district. Three core values are at the heart of the next community; transparency, trust, and comfort.

RESULT: Through the use of pops of colors, biophilia, ties to nature, and flexible
collaborative spaces; this environment will be ideal for any employee or patient who encounters it. Creating an environment that supported collaboration between disciplines and with patients was a major focus on this project.
